Delivery????? If you are considering ordering online, DONT!!! It took over two hours to show up, despite the fact that the delivery confirmation said 45 minutes. When I called to find out where my food was, they simply said it would still take another 30 minutes because the were very backed up with no apology! 2 hours to bring me a salad and chicken sandwich when it's less than 2 miles away????? The have forever lost a loyal customer!

They do great deals here on certain days of the week. I don't want to quote all of them because it looks like they've changed them just a bit but, I do know that on Tuesdays (went there last night) they do two entrees and two non-alcoholic drinks for $15. What a steal! The food is pretty much different variations of chicken over and over again. You've got wings, tenders, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and the list goes on. They have burgers and a few other options but chicken is obviously the main course here. My favorite is the buffalo kickin chicken sandwich except I swap out the provolone for bleu cheese crumble. The chicken philly is a winner as well. This location is huge and has a dining area, gaming area (including pool tables), and a large bar area with a long bar with seating and additional booths. They had an open mic night going on and most of them were pretty good

Bar food, deep fried food, heart attack food. Sometimes that's all you want! And they aren't hiding from this category, so the brand is what you would expect. This local chain is a real success story from humble beginnings as a chicken wing delivery place to what I believe a chain of 6 stores. When I first moved to Charleston as a freshman in college in 2001, this place was the bomb! Sadly, the corporate feel has taken hold and what used to be a go to chicken spot now seems to be a cheapened shell of itself. I still love their chicken fingers and chicken nuggets, and their wing variety of flavors is great too. However I ate there for an office lunch just the other day and I can't shake this feeling that we are now paying more for less. However, I do understand that may be a dilemma a lot of restaurants are facing now with the way food costs are going up. If you go, I highly recommend the nuggets or chicken fingers. The salads also deliver great value. Stay away from the sandwiches, as it seems to me they are now serving those on a type of roll that would more appropriately be used for a sausage.

Boss burger was great, beer was great, jack stuffed pretzel was great, service was very slow though. Place needs better management

Good atmosphere for watching games and relaxing with friends. However, coming into this restaurant, we sat ourselves after waiting about 3 minutes for a host. Once we sat down, three different waiters came to serve us and two of them were bickering about who had our table. The food took a long time and the manager apologized for the delay. Due to our inconvenience, the manager awarded us with 25% off our bill. We appreciated the manager's sincerity in giving us a discount due to the situation. Food: average, nothing special. We expected better food from a chair restaurant and signature sandwiches.

I actually give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars. But let me explain some things. Dining in, the food is very good. The staff and bartenders are friendly and accommodating. I really like the atmosphere of the bar and that the game room is completely separate because kids can get quite annoying when trying to watch a game. Sometimes in a bar watching your Bears lose, profanity comes flying out and having to look around if the patrons "in a bar" are with children tends to gets annoying. Now ordering out for lunch is a completely different experience. My co-workers and I usually order salads. And let me tell you, I don't think I've ever gotten a salad with all the appropriate toppings that it explains on the menu. It's almost comical at this point. But when they screw up, they are always willing to dish out free lunches the next time we order. And they always come through with the free salads... missing the croutons or blue cheese crumbles. LOL

Apparently they don't deliver anymore... The phone number is a cell phone that is turned off. I tried calling the other locations and they weren't helpful in finding a correct phone number.

The food was really quite good. Our party ordered the grilled chicken tacos (amazing), buffalo chicken burger, kickin chicken sandwich, and all were happy. We were seated promptly, and beverages were given super quick. We went on a somewhat slow Saturday afternoon; however, the server tok the time to let us know the kitchen was a bit slow, and that the food might take around 20 minutes to arrive. That was a good call. If I know you haven't forgot about the customer beforehand a small wait can be overcome. The place also doubled as a sports bar. Countless tv sets, a full bar, and some pool tables, although we didn't participate in those festivities. Overall, great experience. We will definitely visit this place again the next time we visit Charleston.

All I can say is horrible. We have given this place 3 tries at being good in 1 week and they have failed miserably all 3 times. We are big patrons of their other locations and after moving we started using this location. So far all 3 times we've ordered have been pathetic. The first time was Sunday, the wings we got were a 25 sampler. They were all cold and we extremely dry and bland. 3 of the wings we had didn't even have any meat on them! We wanted to try again last night and ordered delivery. The food was bad once again and the deliver driver didn't have change for a $20? We overlooked it and said no worries. Then tonight we specifically asked for things to be done right and that the driver bring change. Once again they failed and when we called to complain we were told "too bad for your luck, you can't expect us to have change for you." Our family is done with all kickin chicken locations forever.
(1)Daniel A.
Not a good experience, wait staff were just not into their job, not attentive at all. My chili was stone cold and the waitress was like ,"Oh?" And that was it. Food was meh ok I guess I had the Kickin Chicken virtually devoid of flavor, potato salad had a stale vinegar taste possibly mop water not sure. my wife and daughter liked the sliders and chicken strips so guess my order was the bad one.
(2)Leeanne M.
Just a good ole' bar to get your drink and game on. Nice, competent bartenders- my drink is rarely empty. Stiff drinks.(I've kicked it at the chicken a little too much on occasion: see above) Beer and wing specials. Pool. Lots of sitting room. Outside area for smoking - with a TV! And lots of TVs inside. I'm not a wing fan ( I know, the horror!) But their chicken salad is pretty tasty. Definitely a fan of this location. It doesn't try to be anything other than what it is: a wing and sports bar with a good crowd.
(4)Mr B.
Not too bad if you go in knowing the majority of the food is fried. The kitchen is open til 12 so great for later eaters.
(3)Fanny M.
On our way back to myrtle beach, my hubby an I stopped at this place. As we approach this place it seems like its closed but in reality it's opened. So we sat down and the well I order some chicken tenders they were pretty good. Staff was nice, and the restrooms have the funniest things ever for the women's restroom It says HENS and for the Men's restroom it says ROOSTERS, it was funny but overall it was a nice place to grab some lunch.
(3)Bill R.
Meh. It's pretty much your run-of-the-mill wings place with really nothing special to set it aside. Their fried pickles were pretty good and they seem to have decent drink specials. They seemed to have some interesting sauces, too, but this is they type of place that just dabs the sauce one whereas I like my wings soaked in sauce for lots and lots of flavor. Also, no boneless wings. Overall, it wasn't bad, just pretty average. There are too many better wings places around for me to come back to this one.
(2)Jeff E.
Just got home with my 60 wing To Go order and their is almost no flavor on the Hot Buffalo Wings. C'mon man! A waste of $50.00. I'll never order wings here again.
(1)Jason K.
Big fan of the kickin chicken. This definitely aint a fancy place but if you're looking for awesome wings, beer and tv's to watch some games, this place kicks a$$. Their butter garlic wings are money. Go during the week and look for their specials like $6 pitchers of BL and 24 wings for 9.99.
(4)Kyle E.
Better than bar food. Salads are huge and pretty good.

Growing up in Western New York has meant becoming a bit of a connoisseur about chicken wings. Lost count of how many places around the globe that I've tried the evolution of Buffalo's Anchor Bar invention. In the Lowcountry, the Kickin' Chicken has the best wings. There are some good attempts at other places in Charleston, but these guys get the trophy. Good chicken. Good preparation. Plenty of sauce options. And the celery is not forgotten. We've been to the downtown, West Ashley, and Summerville locations, but the Mount Pleasant Kickin' Chicken is our favourite. Good layout with plenty of seats at the bar and enough TVs throughout the place to watch your game of choice. A few games of pool have also been won and lost at this place. Some video games for kids (young and old) are here too. The stuffed pretzels or Bobbie fries make a nice starter. Salads are well done and there are plenty of add-ons available, plus a good dressing selection. Give the Buffalo Chicken Salad with ranch a try. Sandwiches are the next best thing to their wings. Santa Fe Wrap and the original Kicken' Chicken sandwich are solid. Bonus points for food French fries. They recently added flatbreads and the Buffalo Flatbread has some heat to it. Wings. Nuggets. Tenders. They're a meal by itself. Lots of choices on the sauce. Give the Lemon Pepper or Ranch run a try. Remember, you can split up your sauces. Kid friendly menu options too. Although they eventually become chicken wing carnivores too. There's a loyalty card program, but the card always seems to go missing. Take out is available and if you see their food truck around town, give that s try too. Reviewer's Note: Raising a young family in Charleston after years of living and traveling abroad. Restaurant reviews are based on at least two visits.

This was our first time at this location. Pulled up and wasn't sure if they were open. Of course it was 11:30 and I guess they open at 11:00. We went inside and there were a few people playing pool and maybe 2 or 3 eating. When we first got in and seated we noticed it was really cold. The waitress came fast and we put our order in pretty fast. Finally got our order (15-20 minute wait) I got the kickin chicken sand which. My wife got the BLT. Both were very good. The sweet tea was awesome. Pretty sweet but not too sweet. Overall the meal was really good. Got the ticket $19 before tip. Good price for what we got. I would highly recommend going and the earlier the better, it always seems to be crowded.
(4)Saba S.
Not too excited about this place. The waiter was someone who hated his job...all I could think about was office space and having enough flare (they didn't have flare, but doing enough to not get fired). The onion rings were good as an appetizer and I would get them again. The winter ale was delicious and would get that again as well. I got the Kickin Chicken sandwich FRIED, with a side of ranch/bacon/cheese fries which I couldn't finish. The sandwich is okay at best, but I don't even think I will come back to this place to try it again. The bread is too small for the ingredients in the sandwich and the flavor is ehhh. If you want to watch some football, I would come here for some beer and appetizers, but not for a meal. Not recommended

Meh. Came here to eat during the US v Portugal World Cup game yesterday so this may not be a fair judgment of this place on a regular night, but our server did not even come back to fill up our water because he was too busy. I would think they'd have more staff on hand for events like this. Tried the chicken nuggets with spicy teriyaki and enjoyed those. Fried pickles were probably my favorite thing on the menu. Seems like a fun venue to watch sporting events.
(2)Brandon H.
One of the few (if not only) places on Mount Pleasant that shows the UFC fights, this is now a go-to spot for me. The huge bar, game room, dining area are covered in TVs. I think they had so many that they ran out of wall space and built a smoker's patio outside just so they could install more. Despite the place being packed, we were still able to be seated within 20 minutes of arrival in the dining area. Our waitress was fairly attentive and made sure our beers never ran dry. Prices were on par for a sports bar and the wings were really good with the exception of the dry rubs, which were WAY too salty. I would really recommend it for any kind of major sporting event or if you just want to go drink beers and eat wings mindlessly for awhile.
(4)Roy M.
I'm a Mt Pleasant local. I use to come here almost every Sunday. Have not come here as often after moving to Dunes West. Boy has this place fallen apart. The service is the worst I've had in years. There are just too many choices in Mt Pleasant to have to tolerate rude ass waitresses.
(1)Sasha S.
Delivery good .. Awesome potato salad must try, love it. Had one incident on bad tomatoes on a wrap and eh on wings o e time but in the past year overall one of the top choices especially bc of the delivery and the loyalty points ..

Very good tenders and wings. I saw the bartender sticking a pen inside my servers butt???? I figured they were dating or something. Hopefully, he didn't give me the same pen to sign my bill. Overall, very nice place to eat.
